Philosophy is the attempt to understand the whole of human existence. At the Independent School of Philosophy we read and discuss great texts of philosophy and literature (including Plato, Aristotle, Shakespeare, Nietzsche, Heidegger and others) in small, conversational classes, online and in person in Melbourne.
No prior study is needed: only an interest in the fundamental questions. We also teach Ancient Greek, from complete beginner to reading Plato, Sophocles, Euripides and other classics in the original.
Membership is free until May 2027 and gives 25% off every course.
